THE BUSINESS BEHIND THE CONNECTION
PayGo connects access to a product with payment entitlements. Users pay under agreed terms; operators manage devices, credit and service through an IoT system.
01 / THE MODEL
Instead of relying only on an upfront sale, PayGo organizes payments around access. Models can include instalments, prepaid energy credit or recurring service access. Ownership, charges, suspension and restoration follow the business agreement and product design.
It requires more than a connected device or a payment page. Payment results, entitlement calculation, device operation and reconciliation must work together.
02 / HOW IT WORKS
Select a device or energy service and agree usage and payment terms.
Pay per use, quantity or period. The business system records the order and entitlement.
Device rules translate the order into available credit, time or operating state.
Operators manage devices, billing and service. Customers renew as needed.
03 / SYSTEM DESIGN
Hardware, connectivity, interfaces and delivery scope are defined for each project.
04 / APPLICATIONS
Connect metering, prepaid credit, orders and service under project-specific rules.
Design access and renewal around usage periods, instalments or rental services.
Define billing units, device states and operational interfaces for the product.
Instalments are one model. Prepaid usage and recurring service access are others, depending on the product and commercial arrangement.
This depends on device design. Define authorization, offline credit, state synchronization and connectivity-loss behaviour before implementation.
Integration depends on the market, provider and business interface. Define callback validation, duplicate handling and reconciliation.
Gas requires safety-oriented control based on applicable requirements and device capabilities. Payment status alone should not dictate valve actions; define protections, exceptions and human support.
